Just a few, but important:

You have to link back.  A simple text link is all that is needed.

Your site can not be password protected.

No midis on your site.  If I open your page and music comes out, you're gone.

Before you join, make sure you have at least 3 months of entries.  Journals die off a lot in the first 3 months.
