You looked twice didn't you.  Yes, it's only one line.

For those of you who are new around here, which there are a few of you.  I'm infertile, we've been trying to conceive (or not trying to prevent it) for 5.5 years.

Okay, I thought hte picture was funny.  I had just been surfing around different journals, many I had never seen before and I saw several of those pictures.

You know, the pregnancy test with two little pink lines, then the happy squeally entry.  So in my weird sense of humor, I decided that I'd take a picture of my negative one.

You see, since my cycles are so abnormal, from time to time, I take a pregnancy test.  Just as a precaution.  I'd rather know I'm not pregnant than not know.  Mainly because I do take over the counter drugs and drink ocassionally.  I'd rather not expose a fetus to massive amounts of ibuprofen or Green Monsters.

Since I thought we were going out Friday night (Tracey, get your ass down here, I miss you.) I bought a three pack of test (woo, 3 for the price of 1) and did the ole test.

They are not nearly as traumatic anymore.  I pee on the stick, oh, hush, you all knew that, sit it down, wash my hands, face, whatever, wait the three minutes, see the solo line and pretty much go on with my day.  What a difference a year makes.  Seriously, I'm much more settled now on the whole not having kids issue.

If it happens, it happens, if it doesn't, we might adopt, but then again, maybe remaining childless is the way to go.  Who knows?  We're still fairly young. (remember my birthday is April 21st :)  We've got time to make a final decision.

We do have a niece and nephew to worship, adore, and spoil the hell out of, whom we then send home.  Along with a new addition coming in August.  Yep, you read that right.  My little brother and his fiance are having a baby.  Lori's due August 22nd.  Now, the day I found out, it was tough.  In fact the notify list got a long upset message.  I'm over that.

Life the past two years has been all about change.  Internal ones, mainly.  I'm still with my husband, I'm not going anywhere, but, I am changing.  My extreme left political stances aren't as extreme any more.  Don't get me wrong, I'm by no means a conservative, but, there are some things I have changed my mind about.

This could go on for awhile, I'll close for now, and come back to this tomorrow.
