About This Site
Mutteringfool.com came online in November of 2000. Originally
started on Geocities.com for it's trial run, I realized that I truly enjoyed
writing an online journal. The original title, Suzyramble ~ the mutterings
of a fool, inspired the site name. Later on the change to Fly Away
as the focus of the journal changed from a therapist session (trainwreck)
to more of a laundry list. Listing my daily life, poking in to various
sections, and speaking of things which I never had vocalized to anyone.
After Fly Away was found by various family members, I backed off my
writing for a long time. Until one day I decided that I would give
the address to friends and family, who were free to read whatever they
wished.
My closest friends now egg me on to update, when it's been too long
between entries.
And with the third anniversary of this, a new name and again,
a slightly different focus. More of the archives have been removed
so, they can be put in a more readable format.
Now, we have, Landslide ...and I'm getting older, too.
From the song Landslide written by Stevie Nicks, performed by Fleetwood
Mac and the Dixie Chicks. Over the past year or so, I've been going
through a mental change, that it seems, a lot of people do in their late
20s. For some reason that song touched me and there you have it.
I'm grateful to all my readers, especially those who have been around
since early on. I plan on sticking around for a long time to come,
I hope you do as well. I don't know where these pages will take me,
but, it's been a great journey, so far.
Now, it's the end of year four for this journal. I'm sticking
with Landslide, but, updating the design. As you can see, I haven't
updated as much as I could have this last year, but I refuse to stop.
I'm in it for the long haul, glad to have you here.

Update 2005 March 25, 2005 marks year 5 for this journal and a
change to just MutteringFoolDotCom, without any other name. It's
how I'm known and what I'm used to.
