I promised myself that as of September 1st, I'd start updating all of my sites more often.

Here it is, a mere 1.5 hours into it and I'm writing a quick updatey thing for this here journal.  While Tony showers (mmm, wet naked soapy husband, why am I writing again?!?) I'm forcing myself to spew something onto this big blank white space.

Hmm, let's see.  Update about all I've written about lately.  The costachondritis?  I'm feeling somewhat better.  It's no longer a constant god-i-wish-i-could-die pain, which is a good thing.  It's a dull ache, now that comes and goes.  I still haven't found a decent doctor, but I'm researching different ones.  I'm not going to a million different doctors with their 800 dollars worth of blood work to find a good one.

But, I'm not going to whine about that tonight.  Another time, another night when I'm not in a fairly good mood.

I'm sitting here, my hair trailing down my back, drying underneath the fan of the airconditioner.  My hair is getting very long now, only years after I started growing it out.  The last real haircut I got was almost five years ago, since then it's only been trims here and there, as the woman who whacked my hair off just before our wedding scared me away from major cuts.

That sticks me with the same basic style, long, parted on the right, trailing down my back for all these years.  Which, isn't a bad thing, since my hair is too wild to actual maintain any single style other than that.

The television is droning on in the background.  I have no idea what's on.  I can only hear out of one ear right now, it makes life interesting.  Especially when I'm watching the nephew.

Yes, the little one.  He's now just over 2 weeks old and growing like a weed.  A little weed, but still.  He eats constantly grunting his frustration of emptiness at first.  And if you don't heed the grunting, his little face screws up and let's out a mighty cry to let you know he's just starving.

The whole family is settling in with the newest member.  It's odd having a new little one around.  Kyrsie has been the baby for almost four years, so we tend to call her the baby and RJP the new kid.  Hey, it works for now.

Yes, I know how disjointed this is, I'm updating y'all on a lot at once, so I can move back into singular subjects.

Tony's back in classes.  Four days a week, plus an online class.  He's doing wonderfully, even when he stresses out completely.  I'm so damn proud of him, he went back to school after a long time away and he's really done amazingly well.

Other than that, we've really done squat this summer.  He was gone a lot of the summer, I've had some major sickness/health issues and we were without transportation for awhile.  It all seems to be coming back together though.  We have plans for tomorrow (shopping, shooting, just getting out of the house.)  Eventually this fall, we plan on going camping a couple more times.  My sad sack self, can not deal with the heat to camp in the summer in Virginia, but I want to get in at least 2 more trips.

And, I'm done with this ramble.

Have a great Labor Day.
