DVR

For some oddball reason the batteries in the bedroom remote die faster than any other remote I have ever seen. I wondering if it is because the satellite receiver is in the living room and it works for both televisions? or if there is some weird forcefield around here.

Or if I am just so overwhelmingly tired that I can't think of anything important to say?
