I know, I know, people think wishlists are evil.  I love them.  I always check the wishlists out of journals I read.

It's an extra little look into someone's life.  What they read, what they listen to, what they want.  And every once in awhile I buy someone something off their list.  A surprise package rules.  

I have wishlists at several sites of stuff I will buy someday.  The only one I'll link is Amazon's because, well, they have such a cross section of stuff, you really get to see what a person likes.
