December 31, 2003 This is our eighth New Year's Eve together. And the first one, we've gone out for. Not that we actually had anything planned, between illnesses over the years we have learned to not plan ahead of time for New Year's Eve, as it is likely your plans will change. So, we didn't. We decided around 6:45 that we were going out for evening. Luckily the Lodge had a dinner/dance and we only live 2 miles from there. We got snazzed up, me in my red/black/burgundy camo glittery dress. Yes, you read that correct. In fact you can see part of it in the pictures below. Lots of glitter, on my face, hair, chest, and dress. Hell, I love glitter to begin with and New Year's Eve is the perfect chance to use it all. Lug sole black shoes, old lady pearls, and off we went. Dinner was fantastic, prime rib done perfectly medium for me, medium well for Tony. Music, laughter, lots of streamers and confetti later, we rang in 2004 in a wonderful way. I know we won't go out most years, as normally we're with my father-in-law celebrating his birthday, but for this year it was nice. May your 2004 be healthy, happy and prosperous.
