 January 3, 2004
We contemplated going out tonight.  Hell, we discussed it, I looked up restaurants, I found a couple that sounded good.  Then, I realized I just didn't feel like leaving the house.  Tony went out to buy us a frozen pizza and some dessert and I sat her and just vegged out in front of the computer.

It's been like that today, just a lazy, peaceful day.  One of the last few we'll have as the next semester of school approaches and my meetings start back up.  We've watched old movies, a couple reruns of television shows and just talked today.

This afternoon we spent some time playing with Tre, while he drooled and giggled.  We played "put Tre's foot to his mouth, watch him giggle, and grin" for awhile, then he started to fuss.  I knew it was nap time, as he has really settled into a schedule these days.  A couple ounces to drink and a snuggle in his Aunt Pooh's arms and he was down for the count.

Tony settled him into the bed, covering him lightly, as it's in the 60s here (and as I write this at 2:45 AM it is still that warm) today.  Tony was working on some stuff for school and I spent time cruising a couple different forums, not replying to much, but reading a lot.  Which seems to be the order of the day right now.  I read at least 100 times more than I write on forums, because by the time I get to most topics everything I want to say has been said.

I thought about putting together some more of my archives for here, but since I just updated those last night, I didn't feel like wrangling any more pages into the archive format.  Oh, how I wish I had put them all in a simple format when I started this journal instead of having to redo things from back early in 2000.  And I can't read them as I go along, if I do, they'll never see the light of day again.  I copy and paste, fix links and move on as quickly as possible.

I updated the links page, yesterday as well, adding a lot of links from the Holidailies portal.  Eventually, I'll wean them down more, but for now I want to keep those that are there.  Since so many of my normal reads aren't updating as often these days, I need new reads (speaking of which, if you're reading this and have a journal, put a link in the comments, please, for me?)

Since then, we've had the mentioned frozen pizza and watched some of the Anna Nicole Show.  I've read a few entries here and there, worked on some other writing, and now I'm finishing this.

Exciting Saturday night, isn't it?  Ah, it's my life and a good one at that.

Have a great Sunday.
