 December 7, 2003

I'm sacrificing myself for you all.  I am, no really.  I've been on Sudafed for my sinuses and Darvocet for my back all weekend.  And I've let them both wear off, so I could post a semicoherent entry.

Oh, I tried to write one earlier.  It was one of the scariest things I've ever written, rambling even more than normal, with no point to any sentence in the entire four pages of it.

Yes, four pages of drugged mutterings.  Aren't you glad I deleted it?  Then again, it could have been the most brilliant piece of writing and I just tossed it into the trash.

________________

And I still can't write anything, hell, I should have kept the rambling.  Now that the Sudafed is worn off my ears are starting to clog back up.  The sounds that are making it through make it seem like I'm scuba diving 1000 feet below sea level.

RJP III keeps interrupting me.  He is sleeping in here tonight, having spent most of the night in my arms.  Poor little guy is so stuffed up.  Heaven forbid you actually try to suction him, it takes two of us, one to hold him still and the other to do the actually suctioning of his nose.

And he screams the whole time, like we're trying to kill him.  You'd think we were pulling out his toe nails instead of making it so he could breath.

He's on his second outfit of the evening, as no matter when you change him, he floods through at least one diaper a night.  This child pees more than any other baby on the planet.  At his last weigh in, he weight 13 lbs, 13 oz and was 24 inches long.  Hard to believe from a wee runt of a baby who started off at 5 lbs 15 oz just a scant 3 and a half months ago.

All Smiles

He was playing on his Boppy, when he fell asleep.

Well, he's starting to wake up again, I need to finish this and cuddle him.  Hopefully, I'll get to write a more coherent, longer entry soon.
